Comedian Sal Calanni

Anyone who thinks comedy is easy has never tried standing on stage in front of a mic and trying to get a bunch of drunks to laugh. Sal Calanni has been there and he's clawed his way up through the ranks to become a respected Bay Area comedian. Sal uses his tough upbringing -- growing up in Cleveland with an opinionated Sicilian family -- as source material for a lot of his comedy, touching on subjects like race, politics, life and everything in between. Sal was featured on NBC's "Trauma" and starred in the film "Comedy Ain't for the Money". He's performed around the country with the likes of Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Greg Giraldo, Robert Schimmel and John Caparulo, and hosts his own comedy podcast, "Who the EFF is Sal Calanni?"
